AI-powered carb estimation meets continuous glucose tracking. See how food affects your numbers on one chart, read a Dexcom Stelo, G7 or ONE+ directly (beta) for readings in minutes instead of hours, and keep voice and face check-ins labeled with your glucose. Built for T1D, T2D, and prediabetes. On iPhone and Android.

Real-time Dexcom readings, on iPhone and Android
Wear a Dexcom Stelo, G7 or ONE+? Dexcom's own app hands readings to Apple Health and Health Connect hours late, so most apps chart your glucose three hours behind. Food Health TxD can read the sensor directly (beta) and show each reading within minutes, so a meal and the spike it causes line up on the same chart.
📱 iPhone
Turn on Direct Sensor Reading in Settings. TxD listens to the sensor over Bluetooth alongside the Dexcom app and saves each reading to Apple Health as it arrives.
🤖 Android
Turn on the optional real-time bridge in Settings. Two ways, your choice:
Read the number from the Dexcom app's notification.
Listen to the sensor over Bluetooth alongside the Dexcom app.
Optional quiet notices on both platforms: readings stopped or resumed, sensor status, and low, high, rising fast or dropping fast against your own target range.
Direct reading is off by default and is a beta feature. TxD never pairs with, writes to, or takes over the sensor; the Dexcom app stays in charge of your sensor and alerts. Notices from TxD are convenience notices, not medical alarms. Keep your Dexcom alerts on. Every other CGM keeps coming in through Apple Health or Health Connect as before. Dexcom, Stelo, G7 and ONE+ are trademarks of Dexcom, Inc.; Food Health TxD is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dexcom.

Questions people ask
What does Food Health TxD do?
You photograph a meal and the app estimates its carbs and other macros, then shows that meal next to your continuous glucose monitor readings on one daily chart, so you can see which meals move your glucose. It also scans restaurant menus for carb counts, logs manual glucose readings, and keeps voice and face check-ins labeled with the nearest glucose reading.
Which glucose sensors work with Food Health TxD?
Any CGM that writes to Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, which TxD reads automatically. Dexcom Stelo, G7 and ONE+ also get a direct, real-time path (beta, off by default): on iPhone, TxD listens to the sensor over Bluetooth alongside the Dexcom app and sees each reading within minutes instead of the usual three-hour Apple Health delay; on Android it can read the Dexcom app's notification or listen to the sensor the same way. The Dexcom app stays in charge of your sensor and alerts; TxD only listens.
Does Food Health TxD estimate or predict blood glucose?
No. Nothing in the app is a glucose estimate. Glucose values come from your sensor, Apple Health, or your own manual entry. Voice and face captures are labeled with real readings for research review only. The app is for education and tracking, not diagnosis or insulin dosing.
Where do my meal photos, voice notes and glucose data go?
Data stays on your phone. A meal photo is sent only at scan time to produce the carb estimate. Voice notes are transcribed on the phone with the on-device speech recognizer and the audio never leaves the device unless you export your own data.
How is Food Health TxD different from Food Health AI: Scan & Score?
Food Health AI is the general calorie and macro tracker with meal scoring for iPhone and Android. Food Health TxD is its diabetes companion, also on iPhone and Android: the same photo scanning and voice notes, built around carbs and CGM glucose for Type 1, Type 2 and prediabetes, with direct Dexcom reading. Both are made by Eidogen-Sertanty.

The Metabolic Crisis Is Not a News Story
By Steven Muskal, Ph.D. · May 6, 2026
It's your neighbor, your friend, possibly you. Half of American adults are prediabetic or diabetic. This isn't a headline — it's a quiet emergency happening in every household. Food Health TxD was built to give people a simple way to see how food affects their glucose, one meal at a time.

Reading is a 5,000-year-old hack; speaking is a 200,000-year-old operating system. Why the Voice Note button is on the TxD home screen, why your words are transcribed on the phone and never leave it, and what a voice check-in labeled with a glucose reading could teach us.
